New explosions have occurred in Lebanon, including in Beirut.

A day after the attack hundreds of pagers exploded in Lebanon, there are reports of new explosions.

Some form of communication equipment must have exploded, according to several international media. But so far it has not been confirmed what.

Reuters reporters in Lebanon say they heard at least two explosions in different locations in the city’s southern suburbs.

One of the explosions is said to have occurred near a funeral in Beirut, arranged by Hezbollah, for four of the people who died in yesterday’s attack.

Ambulance sirens are heard in several places in Beirut, according to Al Jazeera. Lebanon’s military signs the X and urges people to avoid crowds and let rescue workers arrive.

At least twelve people were killed and nearly 3,000 injured in the attack in Lebanon on Tuesday when hundreds of pagers exploded.

Israel is accused of being behind the attack, but has not commented on the allegations.
