The developers of Throne and Liberty have revealed in detail what improvements they have made since the open beta in July in order to offer the best possible launch version for the West.
What can we expect at the launch? When Throne and Liberty’s early access starts on September 26, 2024, and the MMORPG’s official launch servers go online on October 1, 2024, you can expect a version of the online role-playing game that has received numerous improvements and adjustments since the open beta in July 2024.
These are based to a significant extent on feedback from Western players, but at the same time the Korean version of Throne and Liberty, which has been live since December 2023, has also received all sorts of optimizations and innovations. The bottom line is that anyone interested can expect a version of Throne and Liberty that is significantly different from the launch version from Korea.

What is improved? In a letter on the official website (via playthroneandliberty.com), the developers explain what their focus was for the western launch after the Korean release.
Since then, leveling has been reworked to improve the rhythm of your journey to Solisium. We’ve introduced a better information and tutorial system to help players learn the game, a better rhythm to system introductions, and a variety of immersive quest types that go beyond simply killing monsters. Gear progression has also been improved. Higher levels now grant meaningful power gains and a more generous reward structure during leveling and beyond.
We’ve focused particularly on the variety of fights and builds. To achieve this, we’ve introduced skill specialization for deep customization, an increased skill cap of 24 active skills per weapon combination, armor sets with passive bonuses, an option to customize the camera path, and a revamped combat system with trick shots and permanent crowd control (CC) breakers. Controller play has been revamped with improved camera controls and optimized skill execution.
Later in the letter, the developers explain that they have also made various balancing adjustments for PvP content and systems. Crafting materials are no longer tradable. The drop rate in certain content has been increased to make solo play more worthwhile. In addition, the activities through which you can earn real money currency have been improved.
What is completely new? Newly implemented features, modes and content include:
