The director of “Parasite” is back for a science fiction film starring several American stars, from Robert Pattinson to Mark Ruffalo, Steven Yeun and Toni Collette.
“What’s it like to die?” This is the daily life of the protagonist of Mickey 17new science fiction movie directed by Bong Joon-ho. The director of Parasitethe first Korean filmmaker to receive the Oscar for Best Director, is at the helm of one of the most anticipated films of 2025. This adaptation of a novel by Asthon Edwards released in 2022 tells the story of an individual sent to colonize a frozen planet and save humanity. When he dies, his memories are implanted in a new body and he resumes his mission, with the aim of allowing science to advance and discover the threats of this planet to be colonized, in order to defeat them.
The casting of Mickey 17 brings together stars of American cinema, Robert Pattinson (The Batman) to Mark Ruffalo (Poor creatures, Avengers), passing by Toni Collette (Heredity, Knives Out), Steven Yeun (Relentless) and Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice).
