Confidence often declines when certain promises are not fulfilled, but De Jongh wonders whether that also applies to this cabinet. “We have a completely different kind of cabinet, of course, that was mainly elected because of the dissatisfaction with previous cabinets, with a radical right-wing party as the largest: the PVV. We have never had that in the Netherlands before.”
