Are the early access packages worth it, what do they offer for the money?

Publisher Amazon Games has introduced the three early access packages for Throne and Liberty. MeinMMO tells you how much the early access packs cost and what advantages they offer.

What early access packages are available for Throne and Liberty? The MMORPG will actually officially launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on October 1, 2024. Is it worth buying the packages?

In the open beta, the first version of the monthly battle pass cost 500 Lucent and the one-time purchase of the growth pass (which is designed to make the leveling phase easier for you) cost 750 Lucent. Aside from the Lucent, all other content in the early access packs is cosmetic in nature – and there are also some free alternatives, especially for the skins for the animal forms and the companion.

Unfortunately, there was no overview of the prices of the Lucent packages in the beta, so it is unclear how much money the 500 or 1,000 Lucent of the two more expensive packages are worth. However, since Lucent can also be earned by playing, no one should feel compelled to buy the packages for just a few Lucent.

As far as early access is concerned, it is of course always great to be one of the first wave of players to storm the servers. On the other hand, Amazon Games wants to open extra realms for the official release on October 1, 2024, on which there will be no early access players. The auction houses for the early access and launch servers will also be separate.

The bottom line is that the early access packages don’t offer you such comprehensive advantages that you absolutely have to buy them. This is also clear in Kanon’s new video on YouTube, in which he shows you the cosmetic goodies in the packages in detail.

How fair is Throne and Liberty’s payment model? For the western version, publisher Amazon Games and developer NCSoft have made some adjustments compared to the Korean version.
