Evacuation from flames in the Parliament of Romania

Around 300 people have been evacuated from the parliament in Bucharest after a visitor threw a flammable substance into a room, Romanian media reports.

A fire is said to have broken out in one of the parliament’s public areas.

Police are on the scene, the building is said to have been shut down and no injuries have been reported.
