Mobile phones have indeed developed at breakneck speed in recent decades. Nowadays, it is hardly possible to cope with everyday life without the mobile phone, as we do more or less most things on it: pay bills, communicate with loved ones or watch movies.
This is how the bank card can be cloned – if you have Android
But in step with development, the risk of being exposed to everything from fraud to a targeted IT attack has also increased.
Recently, Android users were warned that hackers can clone one’s bank card.
It is through NFC, or Near Field Communication, which is the technology that allows you to pay contactless or without using your payment card.
The technology is built into the phone and the bank card and through a malicious code the card can be secretly read and then sent to fraudsters who copy the card and use it – and by extension spend your money.

However, the development of technology does not only bring downsides. It makes it possible to do most things in a device that fits in your pocket. In addition, with the help of today’s technology, you can communicate with people all over the globe and buy goods from both Asia, South America and the USA and have it delivered to your home in no time.
Another positive thing is that your purchased mobile is constantly improved with software updates.
According to the site Swedroid, it was discovered in July 2024 that Android will soon offer the possibility to automatically stop charging the phone at 80 percent.
The function is already present in Apple’s products, where the charging is energy efficient so as not to damage the device.
