The music competition starts on February 1 when part one takes place in Luleå, which has been the host city three times before.
All cities during this year’s tour have been host cities in the past, but it was over 15 years since Jönköping and Västerås were stops on the road to Sångfågeln. Now race three will be decided in Västmanland and race five at Vättern’s southern shore.
On the other hand, there have been many stops throughout the years in Gothenburg, which hosts part-competition two, and Malmö, which hosts part-competition four.
The final will be decided in the National Arena in Solna, just north of central Stockholm, where the winner of Melodifestivalen 2025 will be chosen.
