– For every Finnish trotter, Viesker has been a diamond and the finest representative of his breed. It seems incredible that you are really lucky enough to get such a horse in the stable. But Evart’s importance in our lives is much bigger than any amount of money, said a nurse from Evart’s background in the winner’s interview Jutta Ihalainenwhose eye Evartti has had since foaling.
The legendary Viesker held the record for more than 20 years. In the years 1993–2004, it won 136 times from its 169 starts and won e.g. five trovi kings.
The public has closely followed the incredible career of Evart, who is now 13 years old and has recovered from two demanding eye surgeries. The Ravikuninkuuten stallion has won consecutively in 2020 and 2021 in Seinäjoki and in 2022 in Forssa. In addition, Evartti has won e.g. Elitkampen, Sweden’s most prestigious cold blood start, in 2023. In his career, Evart has had 125 starts so far and today’s victory was the stallion’s hundredth place.
