For the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft, the Blizzard developers are planning the biggest party Azeroth has ever seen. During the event, you can earn several mounts.

What kind of party awaits all WoW fans? In November and December 2024, all kinds of new content, rewards, and activities await you in World of Warcraft. Highlights include:

  • Return of the Blackdepths as a raid instance for 10 to 15 characters, with eight main and five secondary bosses.
  • Party in front of the entrance to the Caves of Time, with lots of activities and mini-games.
  • Timewalking for classic WoW dungeons (Deadmines, Zul’Farrak, Dire Maul (East and West Wings) and Stratholme).
  • Chromie’s Codex, where you can re-experience or experience the opening of the gates of Ahn’Qiraj in an adapted form.
  • New quests in which you have to help look after the guests.
  • The world bosses Sha of Wrath, Archavon, Azuregos, Lord Kazzak, Doomwalker, and Dragon of Nightmare return, with adjusted loot.
  • Dive into Korrak’s Wrath mode on the Alterac Valley battlefield.
  • Earn the T2 sets as modernized transmog templates.

    Supplies for mount collectors

    Which mounts come with the anniversary? As part of the World of Warcraft 20th anniversary party, you can earn various new or returning mounts for your collection. The following are known so far:

  • Enchanted Magic Cloth Carpet (from Wrath of the Lich King): Buy from Reginald the Slow Cooker (Timewalking Vendor).
  • Amani hunting bear (from Burning Crusade): You can buy it from Reginald the Slow-Seller (Timewalking Vendor).
  • Fringed-feather hippogryph (from Classic World of Warcraft): Buy from Reginald the Slow-Seller (Timewalking Vendor).
  • Cold Flame Storm: Taking after its fiery cousin, Al’ar’s Ash, this blue-flaming flying mount lets you show off your own years of service to Azeroth.
  • Core Dog Chain: Teaches you the Core Hound as a mount, which you can purchase for the Bronze Dragon Anniversary Badge.
  • Stormpike Battle Ram (Alliance) / Frostwolf Growler (Horde): Reward for completing Korrak’s Vengeance.
  • Obsidian Worldbreaker: Deathwing’s dragon form returns as a mount in the 20th Anniversary (first seen during the 15th Anniversary) – can be purchased from Reginald the Slow-Seller (Timewalking Vendor).
  • Illidari Doomhawk: You can get it from the Doomwalker with a bit of luck. It is also available from the Timewalker Merchant for 5,000 Timewarped Badges.
  • Reins of the Celestial Onyx Cloud Serpent: Can drop from Sha of Wrath with some luck.
  • Reins of the great black war mammoth: Obtained by defeating Archavon in the Anniversary Event.
