The head of military intelligence wanted to be reassuring to his European allies, explaining that there will be no escalation and that the West should “not be afraid” to better arm Ukraine. He finally assures that the Ukrainians “will fight for [leur] land” because they have “no other choice”. He also underlines the weight of European sanctions on Moscow in the long term.

Present at this conference, Gabriel Attal wanted to “reaffirm France’s full support for Ukraine, a victim of the war led by Vladimir Putin’s Russia”. He assures that he wants to fight in Parliament “so that France continues to provide the military and financial support that the country needs to resist and rebuild”.
