(Finance) – Also for the 2024/2025 school year Foundation Pirelli presents a educational program rich in training proposals free for primary and secondary schools. There will be two online events where teachers and all interested people will be able to discover the contents of the educational courses and how to participate: Wednesday 18 September at 5:00 p.m. or Tuesday 24 September, also at 5:00 p.m.
The training offer designed by the Pirelli Foundation this year has the title “The Ideas Workshop. Business Culture for Schools” and will allow students to acquire, also through the long history of Pirelli, greater awareness of the world of business, made up of people, processes and products, but above all of ideas. In the history of business, in fact, the workshop is a special place, a work environment where practical activities are carried out that require great technical skills, but also creativity, intelligence, passion.
Since 2013, the Pirelli Foundation has been organizing workshops, webinars and guided tours, with the main aim of increasing the knowledge of young people regarding the world of work and stimulating their imagination in the conception and creation of creative projects, taking inspiration from the rich heritage of sketches, documents, photographs and audiovisuals preserved in thePirelli Historical Archive.
The new series of free educational courses – in person and/or live online – will accompany primary and secondary school students on a journey to discover the company and in particular the deep bond that unites Pirelli to sport in all its dimensions and to the values shared between sporting culture and corporate culture. Starting from contents of the latest editorial project “L’officina dello sport” which took shape in the new exhibition path of the spaces exhibitions of Fondazione Pirelli, we will talk about the importance of teamwork, power and control, passion and innovation. Stories of champions, challenges and victories, and much more.
After the 2023-2024 edition which saw the involvement of over 3,500 students coming from all over Italy and abroad, this year primary schools will be able to follow the long journey of rubber, which from the plantations of Asia takes us to Pirelli factories around the world, and discover how rubber can be used while respecting the environment, or visit the Pirelli Foundation to observe how artists and designers have created innovative advertisements.
The schools lower secondary schools will try their hand at designing and operating small robotthey will know the stories of the most important champions in the world of sport, they will learn to read static and moving images. Finally with the secondary schools Through games and quizzes, the evolution of Pirelli’s graphics and visual communication, sports literature and, also through a visit to the Pirelli Research & Development laboratories, the technological innovations introduced by the company over 150 years of history will be explored in depth.
