The confirmed death toll from floods and landslides in Myanmar has risen to 74, the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar newspaper reported on Sunday.
That is more than twice as many compared to the 33 people who were previously confirmed dead.
Great devastation has followed in the wake of the unusually powerful hurricane Yagi, which swept across Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos and Thailand last weekend.
