A man was taken to hospital by ambulance after a suspected attempted murder in Härnösand on Saturday evening.
The police were alerted at 10:18 p.m. and were later able to arrest two people.
The man has received injuries from an attack, the police say.

A teenage girl was hit by a car at a pedestrian crossing in Huddinge during the night towards Sunday.
The police and ambulance helicopter were called a few minutes before midnight.
– The pedestrian is really badly injured, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at the police’s regional command center.

The police have been alerted about a person walking around with a machete in Kinna, outside Borås.
The alarm came in at 10:30 p.m.
– We received an alarm about a drunk person who was threatening. We have secured it now, says Martin Hallberg, officer on duty at the police in the West region.
The arrested person is suspected of crimes against the Knife Act, drug crimes and threats to officials.

Four teenage boys have crashed a car in Malmö, reports P4 Malmö house.

At least 16 people were killed when a tanker exploded in Haiti on Saturday. Another 40 people were injured when the tanker, which was leaking fuel, exploded in the southwestern part of the island nation.
Many people had approached the tanker to collect leaking fuel, according to witnesses at the scene. The injured were taken to hospital in the port city of Miragoane, about ten kilometers to the left of the capital, Port-au-Prince.
Haiti’s prime minister of the country’s transitional government, Garry Conille, called an emergency meeting after the accident.
