Paulo Roberto: “Witch Hunt”

In a long message on the social platform, Paulo Roberto has expressed his fury at the allegations.

“For over four years, Expressen and other media have conducted a witch hunt and drive against me that seems to have no end,” he writes in the post, which is bordered by a picture of himself with his arms crossed. On the picture are captioned the words “Now that’s enough!”.

In May 2020, Paolo Roberto was arrested on suspicion of having bought sexual services from a woman. He was later convicted of the sex purchase. As a result, both TV4, “Paolos” and “Pane Fresco” ended their collaborations with him.

He now believes that the media is again indirectly accusing him, after headlines linked him to the two men who were arrested in connection with a rape at the restaurant.

In the post, he explains that he does not own the restaurant and believes that the whole thing is a fabricated story.

“This type of dishonest journalism is hurting me, my family, my brand, my businesses, the restaurant and its staff both emotionally and financially.”
