There is a lack of mutual trust, writes Heberlein in her post on Facebook, where she also expresses that during the years as an employee of the Moderates, she has been limited in her “opportunities to think, think and write freely”.
In the post, Ann Heberlein highlights that for a long time she has felt “increasingly uncomfortable” with the politics of the Moderates and, among other things, highlights the collaboration with the Sweden Democrats.
Above all, it is the party’s regional priorities that have made her uncomfortable.
“There are no proposals, no visions, no power to act,” she writes.
The group leader: Lacks confidence
Anna Jähnke, regional councilor and group leader for the Moderates in Skåne, believes that the decision is about the collaboration not working.
– We had a meeting last Friday where we agreed to go our separate ways. We don’t trust her anymore. It is important that you have trust in each other in politics and that you can cooperate. There it has exploded, says Anna Jähnke to SVT Nyheter Skåne.
SVT Nyheter Skåne is trying to reach Ann Heberlein for a comment.
