Should the car be insured during inspection?
Inspecting a car that is not insured is in practice the same as inspecting a car that is parked.
A car that is registered but lacks traffic insurance will be automatically insured by the Traffic Insurance Association, which quickly becomes an expensive story.
The traffic insurance association charges a fee of SEK 180 per day from the car owner.

To inspect a parked car
Inspecting a parked vehicle, on the other hand, is excellent according to the Bilprovningen.
However, a parked car may only be driven the shortest way to or from the nearest inspection station, and must also be insured.
