Last year there were 20 confirmed shootings in Västmanland, the year before 16. Although the latest shooting at Sandgärdet was one of three shootings in a short period of time, 2024 looks set to be a year with a lower number of shootings than before.
SVT has been in contact with the police in Västmanland, who on Friday did not want to answer questions about this year’s shootings and the latest developments.
