A friend told The Hollywood Reporter that he died of organ failure that he had been suffering from since a fall in 2020. Organ failure is linked to a dysfunction of one of the organs of the human body, which does not or no longer fulfills its function correctly.

Chad McQueen was born in Los Angeles in 1960. He began his acting career early in his adult life in the late 1970s, following in his illustrious father’s footsteps. His best-known role, however, remains that of Dutch, Daniel LaRusso’s stalker, in the films Karate Kid (1984) and The Karate Kid: The Moment of Truth (1986). However, he did not appear in the sequels to these two cult films.

Like his father, Chad McQueen was also a huge car enthusiast and had been racing since he was 10 years old. “His passion for racing not only underscores his exceptional talent, but also his desire to honor his father’s legacy, a testament to the values ​​he instilled in him,” his children wrote in their statement, available on Instagram. “He passed on his passion, knowledge and dedication to us, and we will honor his legacy and that of our grandfather.” Chad McQueen founded his own racing car and motorcycle company, McQueen Racing, in 2010.
