The duo falsely claimed ahead of France’s 2022 presidential election that Mrs Macron is a transgender woman.
Two French women have been found guilty of the French president Emmanuel Macron the wife Brigitte Macron for defamation.
In a video conversation published on YouTube in December 2021, the two unfoundedly claimed that Mrs. Macron is a trans woman. According to the duo, Brigitte Macron never existed, but her brother did Jean-Michel Trogneux had changed her gender and started using the name Brigitte.
The two now have to pay compensation of 8,000 euros to the first lady of France and 5,000 euros to her brother. Among other things, the news covered the matter BBC.
