How does the list work? Here you can find all the monsters that will be in Monster Hunter Wilds. The release is planned for 2025, so we cannot yet give any combat information such as weaknesses or possible rewards. However, we will still list all the information about the monsters that Capcom has shared.
We divide our list into “Big Monsters” and “Small Monsters”. With our directory you can quickly jump to the individual monsters:
Big Monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds
These are the bosses in the different areas. They can only be defeated with a strategy.
King Dau
What kind of monster is this? The Rey Dau is a dangerous flying wyvern. It has the ability to control electricity and can thus hurl lightning at hunters. In keeping with its element, it is usually only seen during a storm. It can fly and attack with its wings.
Chatacabra
What kind of monster is this? The Chatacabra is a large amphibian species that can use its saliva to attach rocks to its forelimbs to hit harder, so you can expect attacks from its long tongue and fists.
Balahara
What kind of monster is this? The Balahara slithers through the deserts of the Wind Plains and can ambush its enemies beneath the sand. It is agile and can lure its prey into quicksand traps. It is also capable of long-range attacks, spitting a tar-like substance at its enemies.
Doshagam
What kind of monster is this? The Doshaguma is a fanged beast and looks very much like a mix between a lion and a baboon. This monster inhabits large territories on the Wind Plain and travels in groups. Don’t underestimate it because of its appearance, it is very aggressive and attacks with its whole body.
Rathalos
What kind of monster is this? Rathalos is a flying wyvern that has already appeared in older offshoots of the “Monster Hunter” series. The monster can fly, breathe fire and has poisonous claws. It is very aggressive and should therefore be attacked with good tactics.
Lala Barina
What kind of monster is this? The Lala Barina is a type of Temnoceran, an insect with spider-like features. The monster has a strange thorax that it can unfold like a flower to release spores. You can expect attacks from its limbs and the stinger located on its rear.
Small monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds
These are smaller monsters that can be hunted without much tactics.
Seikret
What kind of monster is this? The Seikret is your trusty mount. The monster is quick on its feet, but can also spread its wings to prevent you from falling. It is not known whether Seikret can also be hunted.
Apceros
What kind of monster is this? Apceros, or a subspecies of them with smaller shells, move through the trailer on the Wind Plain. They are found in large herds and have one species with spikes and one without.
Noios
What kind of monster is this? Noios, or a subspecies of flying monsters, can also be spotted in the sky in a trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds.
“Bucks and crocodiles”
What kind of monsters are these? These are new monsters that have never been seen before and are very similar to the goats and crocodiles from the real world.
“Raptors”
What kind of monsters are these? These are monsters that resemble raptors. In the trailer, they even attack a Chatacabra in a group and try to tear it apart.
