Teacher Said Racist Things – May Lose Credentials

Black students “are less valuable than white students” and it is “difficult to distinguish those who are black”.
That’s what a teacher who previously worked at a school in Västerbotten said, according to students.
Now the teacher risks losing his ID.

Several students at a school in Västerbotten believe that one of their teachers must have expressed himself racist, Siren reports. Among other things by having used the n-word when talking about other students. The teacher also allegedly said disparaging things to the left-hander.

The teacher himself denies all accusations.

May lose professional identification

Now the school inspectorate has investigated the teacher’s actions at various schools and has come to the conclusion that students’ testimonies are trusted.

Therefore, a notification has been sent to the Teachers’ Responsibility Board, where it is written that the teacher’s professional identification should be revoked.

Resigned himself

After the events at the school in Västerbotten, the teacher chose to resign, when the school management announced that they intended to send out a written warning.

This after students and parents stated that they felt an anxiety and fear about future lessons.

Other schools where the teacher worked have also received information that the teacher has said offensive things and treated students differently, something which the School Inspectorate considers highly inappropriate.
