Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is currently celebrating the completion of the most successful beta ever. The test was able to set a new milestone in four categories. However, players do not believe that this happened because of the quality of the game.

Why was it the most successful beta ever? The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 celebrated a new record in four categories. The two beta weekends caused a huge rush of players and placed the test at number 1 of all CoD parts in the following categories:

  • #1 total hours played
  • #1 Playing time per person
  • #1 Most played number of matches

    • For this reason, the developers are calling the beta the “biggest Call of Duty beta ever”. However, players are not convinced that the statistics are comparable to previous parts, especially because they did not think the new Call of Duty was particularly good.

They believe that the demand for players can be attributed to two reasons.

    The main reason many players cite for the success of Black Ops 6 is the Game Pass. It’s no secret among fans that players want to use the Game Pass to save themselves from the most expensive Call of Duty ever.

    The Gamepass allows players to play the new Call of Duty for little money. Thanks to the Gamepass, many players were also able to play the beta at no extra cost. For just one euro, users could take out a test subscription and try out the new Black Ops.

    But a second reason is also often mentioned on Reddit. Users cite the elimination of the exclusive PlayStation beta. Players who played Call of Duty on the PlayStation have always been able to test the new CoD exclusively for a certain period of time in recent years.

    This year there was no such exclusivity, which also helped to increase the number of players in the first few days.
