Dalia Kashash is joining as a hospitalist bringing “extensive expertise and experience to CKHA, providing high-quality care to patients admitted to the hospital,” an alliance release said.

Kashash, a lifelong resident of Windsor, earned her bachelor of science degree from the University of Windsor in 2017, the alliance said. She obtained her medical degree from Western University and completed her family medicine residency at Queen’s University.

“I am excited to join the CKHA team,” she said in the release. “Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, and I look forward to working with such a collegial group.”

In addition to her role as a hospitalist, providing care for patients at the hospital, Kashash is enthusiastic about performing various small procedures, the alliance said.

These procedures will be offered at CKHA’s ambulatory care department and include newborn circumcisions, newborn tongue tie releases, skin biopsies, Intrauterine Device (IUD) insertion and removal, and toenail procedures, the alliance added.

Patients whose primary care providers do not offer these services are encouraged to seek referrals to Kashash.

The CKHA is pleased to welcome Kashash to the health-care team, acting chief of staff Zeke Milkovic said.

“Dr. Kashash’s medical expertise is vast, and her practice is focused on patient family centered care, strengthening our commitment to providing exceptional care to those in our community,” Milkovic added.

The health alliance has announced the arrival of several new doctors in the last year, including a psychiatrist, pediatrician, obstetrician/gynecologist and anesthetist.
