Then Nathan Clark and his wife had enough.
Clark said in a three-minute speech that he wished his son had been killed by a 60-year-old white man instead. Then the family had escaped the tricks of “hateful people”.

The most famous and iconic portrait of Winston Churchill stolen from an Ottawa hotel has been found in Italy – and the thief has been arrested, police say.

It was in August 2022 that hotel staff noticed that the portrait had been replaced with a forgery.
But now local police say that with the help of tips from the public and forensic investigations, they were able to trace the stolen portrait to Genoa. In addition, the culprit has been found – a 43-year-old man who lives 37 kilometers west of Ottawa.
– This portrait is not only an irreplaceable work of art, but also a significant part of our hotel’s history, says hotel manager Genevieve Dumas.

Haiti’s government condemns Donald Trump’s “disparaging comments” during Tuesday’s presidential debate.
Trump repeated claims that immigrants from Haiti are eating people’s pets in the state of Ohio.
“Unfortunately, this is not the first time that foreign nationals have fallen victim to disinformation campaigns, been dehumanized and stigmatized to serve political ends,” the Haitian government said in a statement.
When moderator David Muir refuted his claims, Trump insisted he had “seen people on TV” saying their dog had been eaten.
“We strongly deny these statements, which undermine the dignity of our citizens and, by extension, may endanger their lives,” says the Haitian government.
It was in a local Facebook group for residents of the city of Springfield, Ohio, that false claims began to spread about Haitian immigrants eating pets.

The police suspect that an unknown person attacked him outside and injured him. The man should not have gotten rid of any belongings.

– We step up gradually. It’s cold and wet outside. Now they are just trying to find him as soon as possible, says police spokesperson Lars Hedelin.
The police use helicopters, drones and dog patrols. Mountain rescue personnel with four-wheelers have also been called in.
