The classic Skogaholm slimpa celebrates 100 years.
In connection with the anniversary, a product will undergo a change. News24 have talked to Hilda Björkman who is marketing director at Fazer Bakery.

Skogaholmslimpan is updated – the first time in 18 years
It is the loaf’s design and logo that will change. In a press release from Skogaholms Bakery, the new logo is described as an “update, but with recognition”.
Björkman writes in the press release that the bakery “before the anniversary, we want to show that Skogaholm is a fresh 100-year-old”.
She tells Nyheter24 that it is the first time in 188 years that the logo has changed.
– Around 2006, the logo for Skogaholms Bageri was changed. Since then, small adjustments have been made to both the logo and design to now be updated more overall.

With a new logo, Skogaholm’s bakery hopes that the product will be perceived by customers as “modern and fresh”.
– Through a new cohesive visual surface print, we also hope that it will be easier for consumers to recognize their favorite brand regardless of which bread from Skogaholm they choose, says Björkman to Nyheter24.

In connection with the new design, a new variant of the Skogaholm slime will also be released: Skogaholm Havrestund. The bread is baked with whole grain oat flour and will he a taste of apple and syrup.
