DAZN: up to 120 euros less, how to take advantage of the reduced offer for Ligue 1?

DAZN up to 120 euros less how to take advantage

The streaming platform DAZN, which has won the rights to Ligue 1 this season, is offering a welcome offer with great savings to be made…

DAZN is trying to correct the situation. After criticism of the prices charged by the platform to benefit from Ligue 1 football, for which it obtained the rights in extremis this summer, it has decided to make a commercial gesture. From September 10 to September 22, the full subscription to Ligue 1 goes from 39.99 euros to 19.99 euros per month. Enough to save new subscribers 120 euros over the year. Better still: those who have already been subscribers since August can also benefit from this rate.

The LFP was expecting a billion, Ligue 1 finally got away with 500 million euros with the DAZN / beIN Sports duo for the TV rights of Ligue 1. A proposal of 100 million euros in total for a match and for sponsorship rights from beIN Sports “reassured” the club presidents who accepted the proposal in extremis this summer. A snub all the same for Ligue 1 and a net loss for many clubs in our French championship.

What is the price of the subscription?

You have to pay (once again) extra money to subscribe to Ligue 1 this season. In terms of pricing, DAZN has mentioned that it offers a subscription of 39.99 euros per month for the “Unlimited Pack”, without commitment. A price that can be reduced to around thirty euros in the event of a 12-month commitment. You must also add the 15 euro subscription to follow the Ligue 1 poster on BeIn Sports….

How to subscribe?

The subscription is directly available on the DAZN website. DAZN is also included at no additional cost within the packages. Canal+ Sport and Canal+ Friends & FamilyIn detail this includes CANAL+ SPORT, which costs 25.99 euros per month for the first year, then 39.99 euros per month thereafter, and CANAL+ FRIENDS AND FAMILY, at 49.99 euros per month for 12 months, then 79.99 euros thereafter.

What is DAZN?

Like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, DAZN is a subscription streaming platform. Unlike the other services mentioned, it specializes in live sports broadcasting, while also integrating a range of sports documentaries. It arrived in France in December 2020, but the platform remained discreet until August 2023, when DAZN announced a distribution partnership with Canal for Ligue 1.

The streaming platform broadcast the two Ligue 1 matches for which Canal had the rights each day. It provides access to a wide range of sports live and on demand. It has rights in football, boxing, MMA and American football. Since the start of the 2024-2025 season, it has had the rights to Ligue 1 and has broadcast 8 of the 9 matches in the championship.
