Trump told even more than 30 lies in the debate

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris faced off in the first and possibly only debate.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s the false and blatant claims he made drew attention to him and the Democratic presidential candidate Horrible Harris in the election debate.

Major US media outlets have published their own fact-checks on Harris and Trump’s first and possibly only debate.

News channel CNN’s according to the analysis, Trump made more than 30 incorrect statements in the one and a half hour debate.

According to CNN fact-checking, Harris was more accurate and made one false claim. However, according to CNN, Harris also made several misleading claims or claims that lacked context.

Newspaper of the New York Times according to fact-checkers, Trump made 18 false claims, plus a bunch of misleading ones.

Harris, on the other hand, made two false claims, three misleading claims and four claims that had insufficient context, based on the newspaper’s inspection.

Trump’s most blatant claims

“Harris Vice Presidential Candidate Tim Waltz Supports Abortion After Child is Born.”

Not true. Abortion means terminating a pregnancy. Abortion after birth would amount to killing the child, which is illegal in all US states.

“Haitian migrants eat dogs, cats and other pets in Springfield, Ohio.”

Not true. According to representatives of the city of Springfield, the claims spreading on social media about the subject have no basis in truth.

“I got a bullet in my head possibly because of Harris.”

Not true. Trump claimed that his July assassination attempt may have been motivated by Harris’s words that Trump is a threat to democracy. However, the federal police FBI has not been able to find out the shooter’s motive.

“I had nothing to do with the events of the sixth day of January (congress riot).”

Not true. For months, Trump and his allies spread false claims that the victory in the 2020 presidential election was taken from him by fraud. At the epiphany of 2021, Trump’s supporters stormed the US Congress. Five people died in the attack. Charges have been brought against Trump for his involvement in the events.

“Harris was sent to negotiate with Zelenskyi and Putin. The war started three days later.”

Not entirely true. Vice President Harris only met with the President of Ukraine to Volodymyr Zelensky At the Munich Security Conference in February 2022, before the Russian invasion of Ukraine. President of Russia Vladimir Putin was not there.

“Inflation in the United States is probably higher than ever before.”

Not true. Inflation has been higher in the United States in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

“Harris is a Marxist, everyone knows he is a Marxist.”

Not true. Harris has been described as a capitalist.

“Millions of immigrants come to the United States after escaping prisons and mental institutions.”

Not true. According to the fact checkers, there is no basis for the claim.

False claims by Harris

“If Trump is re-elected president, he will sign into law a national abortion ban.”

Not true. Trump has said that he will not push through the abortion ban at the federal level, but will leave it up to the states.

“After Trump’s presidency, the United States had the worst unemployment since the depression of the 1930s.”

Not true. The unemployment rate in the United States was 6.4 percent at the end of Trump’s term in January 2021. In April of the previous year, when the corona pandemic broke out, the unemployment rate rose to almost 15 percent. That unemployment figure was the highest since the depression of the 1930s.
