Where can I pre-order the PS5 Pro? The PS5 Pro can be pre-ordered from September 26, 2024.
How does the PS5 Pro differ from its predecessor? In addition to the new features such as the improved hardware, there are visual differences. Like the digital-only PS5, the console no longer has a drive. The design of the PS5 remains the same, but with ventilation grilles on the sides.
According to the PlayStation blog, the console will have the same dimensions as the original PS5.
Will there be a PS5 Pro with an optical drive? The PS5 Pro is sold as a console without a drive, but you can buy a drive later. It works the same way as with the PS5 Slim without a drive. The price for the drive on the PS5 Slim is 119.99 euros.
Can the side panels be replaced? Yes, the side panels can be replaced. It is currently unclear whether the PS5 side panels will fit.
