Via a video on the German Bundesliga club’s social media, see it below, it appears that Hugo Larsson is in Tuesday’s team training. Frankfurt communicator Christian Beisel confirms to Radiosporten that Larsson is at the training and the radio reports that the Swede will “train today as usual”.
Hugo Larsson was openly disappointed that he did not get playing time against Azerbaijan – and that the national team captain Jon Dahl Tomasson said publicly that the Eintracht Frankfurt player needs to play more forward.
Denies conflict
– I have told him that I would have liked to have seen that it had stopped between us. Some things should stay in the family, Larsson said on Saturday, two days after the 3-1 victory away to Azerbaijan.

On Sunday morning – the same day that Sweden met Estonia in Solna – the news came that Larsson was leaving the collection. According to the national team, it was because Larsson had an injury.
After the 3–0 victory against Estonia, Jon Dahl Tomasson denied that there was any conflict between the national team captain and Larsson.
– Hugo felt something on Tuesday, but fought on. Yesterday he felt something again during the small team game. He spoke to the medical team. Hugo made the decision to go home, said the Dane.
“Just speculation”
TV4 reported over the weekend that Hugo Larsson should have been asked to leave the collection. Something like the national team manager Stefan Pettersson demented.
– The fact that he went home had only to do with his sense of injury. There is so much speculation, but we know what we are doing, said Pettersson.

The Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski – captain of the national team during Victor Nilsson Lindelöf’s injury absence – does not think the controversy is something to get excited about.
– Sometimes there are problems in a family. You don’t have to think the same way all the time, Kulusevski said after the Estonia match.
