(Finance) – TheLuiss University opens the new academic year with a new, important milestone: the 25th place in the world for Master’s Degrees in “Management” in the ranking published today by the Financial Times, climbing five positions from 2023 and a whopping 65 in five years.
The Free International University of Social Studies also ranked second for graduates’ career progress and stood out for its focus on sustainability entering the Top 5 globally for its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and in tenth place for offering courses dedicated to ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) issues.

The Financial Times ranking could not have arrived on a better day than today, when the freshmen begin their academic journey. This year, we have chosen to welcome them together with an exceptional partner, Intesa Sanpaolo, to underline, from the first day at the university, the deep bond of Luiss with the productive and institutional system, an integral part of the DNA of our University”.
The traditional one Welcome Ceremony to the new Luiss students took place today at the Campus in Viale Pola. The collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo was realized in particular through the “Look4ward – Build Your Future” program, developed by the bank for inspire young people on key transformative trends of society, economy and skills for the future.
During the Ceremony, in addition to the Rector, Paul Boccardellithe General Manager spoke, John the Crookedand the professors Antonio GulloDean of the Undergraduate School and Single-Cycle Master’s Degree; Enzo PeruffoDean of the Graduate School; Emiliana DeBlasio, Advisor to the Rector for Diversity, Inclusion and Sustainability; Joseph ItalianVice-Rector for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Skills. Other speakers then included: Elisa Zambito MarsalaHead of Education Ecosystem and Global Value Programs Intesa Sanpaolo, who addressed the topic of key skills for the future and Daniel Cassiolia Paralympic water skier, who inspired those present by sharing his experience in overcoming his limits and finding new approaches to achieving success. Listening to his speeches was an audience of new students on their first day of class.
