  • Three seriously injured after accident on E4

    Three people have serious injuries after a traffic accident on the E4 outside Mjölby on Sunday evening.

    The accident occurred when a car drove in the wrong direction. A total of five people were taken to hospital after the accident.

    A man in his 80s is seriously injured and admitted to the intensive care unit, Region Östergötland tells TT.

    Two more men, one in his 50s and one in his 70s, are also seriously injured. Their condition is stable.

    There is no information on the injury status of the other two.

    The police have started a preliminary investigation into gross negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm.
