On Monday evening, Apple presented its new iPhone model, which will go by the name iPhone 16.

Apple has produced iPhones since 2007 and today it is the most common mobile phone in Sweden, according to the foundation The Swedes and the internet.
Now Apple is launching a new model which, according to them, comes in four sizes, two of which are regular models and two are so-called pro models.
“We’re excited to introduce the first iPhone designed from the ground up for Apple Intelligence and its groundbreaking capabilities,” said Apple’s CEO Tim Cook at an event at the company’s headquarters in Silicon Valley.

That’s how much the new iPhone will cost
According to Expressen, the base model in the US will cost around $799, which corresponds to around SEK 8,281. The Plus model will cost $899, approximately SEK 9,281.
The new phone will be 30 percent faster than the iPhone 15, according to the company.

The phone also comes with a new operating system, IOS 18, where AI will have a bigger place. Among other things, you will be able to rewrite text via AI and create your own emojis using AI tools, writes The Express.
The operating system will come with a new update this fall.

The button will return
What separates the new model from the very newest is that it will have a button, something that, for example, the iPhone 5 had.
With the new button, however, it will be up to the user what they want to use it for, as it has previously only been a way to get to the home screen.

Then the new mobile is released
As always with a new iPhone model comes a new pair of headphones. The new headphones Airpods 4 will look different from previous editions, and have better sound, according to Apple.
iPhone 16 will be released in the US on September 20. When they will be available in Sweden is not known.
