Public Prosecution Service demands prison sentences for bloody knife violence

Utrecht – The Public Prosecution Service is demanding one and a half and three years in prison for two suspects of a bloody stabbing on the Westplein in Utrecht last August. The two are said to have both pulled a knife during a heated argument with another group and stabbed two other men. They were seriously injured. The Public Prosecution Service wants the court to convict the two suspects of attempted manslaughter and public violence, but they are pleading self-defense.
