A huge conflict shakes the Swedish men’s national team.
Where a rift arose between Jon Dahl Tomasson and Hugo Larsson.
Now the SVT expert says the only right thing about the situation in Blågult.
It was in the match against Azerbaijan that Hugo Larsson didn’t get a single minute of playing time and five other central midfielders went ahead of him. That led to real irritation from the 20-year-old.
The crack in Blue Yellow
Larsson, who plays in the German club team Eintracht Frankfurt, also vented his great disappointment directly.
– Right now it’s just crap if I’m honest. My head isn’t really in the game to be honest, so it’s not a lot of fun, he said after the Nations League match in Baku.
– It wasn’t great fun, I was disappointed and expected something else after the start I had in Germany.

The 20-year-old then left the national team gathering and subsequently a huge conflict has arisen between Hugo and the national team captain Jon Dahl Tomasson. Where the Dane was clear that Larsson was not allowed to play because he wanted more offensive passes in the midfield.
– I have not experienced him as playing extremely sideways. Feedback, which is great so you know what to improve on, should perhaps come within the team. Then you have to get the chance to show it in matches, says the TV expert Daniel Nannskog to SVT.
– Hugo Larsson is a player I have a lot of faith in. A fine central midfielder who is young. I thought he would relatively quickly become a starting player for this national team, he probably will be. This has not been a start that was expected.
Nannskog’s words
The SVT profile now gives its honest view of the sad situation that has arisen and says the only right thing about how to solve it for Hugo Larsson’s future in the national team.
– I think the best thing is for them to speak out for real. It feels like the relationship between them is not what it should be between a player and coach. It feels like a good conversation is needed for future collaborations, says Nannskog in his analysis.

The former Malmö FF player is considered one of Swedish football’s most promising talents and has already begun to be surrounded by interested Premier League clubs. Daniel Nannskog is clear that he is needed in a Swedish national team.
– For me, he is a player that I had bet on. Then you have to prove it when you’re out on the pitch. He is doing great in Germany and could do well in the national team, he tells the TV channel.
