The unit belonging to the Russian military intelligence is well known in the West.
The German intelligence service Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz (BfV) warns of a hacker unit belonging to the Russian military intelligence, known by the number series 29155.
According to Bfv, the group has carried out attacks on targets in EU countries and NATO. The group’s activities also include intelligence.
Unit 29155 is well-known in Western countries and, for example, in the United States, the group is well-known wanted.
