Jon Dahl Tomasson changed, both in terms of starting eleven and formation, compared to the 3-1 victory against Azerbaijan last time.
Linus Wahlqvist Egnell, Ludwig Augustinsson, Mattias Svanberg and Anthony Elanga had to make way for Gabriel Gudmundsson, Ken Sema, Niclas Eliasson and Anton Saletros in a 3-5-2 formation.

Nothing but victory was expected beforehand against an Estonia who opened their Nations League play with a 0–1 defeat against Slovakia.
The attacking duo led the way
It didn’t take long before Blågult threatened. Viktor Gyökeres turned around and finished narrowly outside the post already in the second minute.
Instead, the striker was rewarded after half an hour when he tapped in the rebound after Ken Sema’s finish to make it 1-0. Ten minutes later it was Alexander Isak’s turn. The Newcastle forward took advantage of a second goal in the Estonian penalty area and pushed the ball into the roof of the net.
In the 44th minute it was time again. Alexander Isak found Dejan Kulusevski in deep who played the ball in for Viktor Gyökeres who was able to make it 3-0 before the half-time break.
– It is absolutely wonderful. How the collaboration is between the three stars. Football candy, says SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog.
Transport distance in others
The situation did not get brighter for Estonia when Kevor Palumets was sent off after receiving his second yellow card after just over an hour.
The national team captain made a number of changes during the second half where, among others, Sebastian Nanasi was replaced and thus had to make his competitive debut.
However, the substitutions did not make a big impression against a low-ranking Estonia, and the match ended 3–0.
– It means a lot. That they (Gyökeres and Isak) get to score those goals. Now it still feels like an ice breaker for them. And that they combine so well together – it makes me happy, says SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog.
Earlier in the evening, the second match in Sweden’s group was played where Slovakia defeated Azerbaijan 2–0.
