Primoz Roglic close to winning the Tour of Spain

The Slovenian pedaler already has three overall victories in Spain. Only Roberto Heras has managed four.

Irish Eddie Dunbar won the 172-kilometer, penultimate stage of the Tour of Spain from Villarcayo to Picon Blanco. The stage win was his second in this year’s Vuelta.

The second of the penultimate stage was Enric Mas before taking the overall lead on Friday Primoz Roglicia. Mas was seven seconds behind Dunbar, Roglic ten.

Roglic leads the race by two minutes and two seconds to Ben O’Connor before the final race on Sunday, a 25 km individual time trial.

The Slovenian pedaler is close to his fourth victory in the Tour of Spain. He has only managed four wins in Spain Roberto Heras.

Roglic had to stop the Tour of France due to a fall, but quickly recovered to a top shot.
