A small option gives you a huge advantage in CoD Black Ops 6 – Makes it harder to hit you

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 there is a setting that makes it harder for your opponent to hit you.

What kind of option is this? If you open the settings in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and navigate to the movement options, you will find a setting called “Sprint Assist”. This option is turned off by default.

If you turn on sprint assistance, you will also have the option to select “Tactical sprint assistance”. The tactical sprint assistance means that you automatically activate tactical sprint when you perform a forward movement.

Sprint Help is available for both controller and mouse and keyboard.

However, you still need to optimize your Sprint Help before it can be used perfectly. If you click on “show more” under Sprint Help, three more options will open that affect your Sprint Help.

The first option lets you set the so-called “sprint assist delay”. This is the amount of time in milliseconds that you have to perform a movement input before the sprint assist is activated. For example, if this setting is set to 400 milliseconds, you have to run forward 400 milliseconds with the tactical sprint assist before the tactical sprint is automatically activated.

It is best to set these settings to 0 so that you immediately go into tactical sprint as soon as you move forward.

Why is this a huge advantage? This means you can get into the tactical sprint much quicker, as it no longer depends on manual input from you. You also have to press one less button, as you automatically go into the tactical sprint.

This option also makes it easier to get more out of the new Omni-Movement. For example, you can jump around a corner and then sprint back more quickly.

This also means you can get back into the tactical sprint quicker when you come out of a slide, a dropshot or a bunny hop. You can simply transition into the sprint very smoothly.

Even professionals like CoD world champion Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro have this setting active and thus get more out of their movement.
