The Palace of the Nerub’ar will be the first raid in World of Warcraft: The War Within. Shortly before the release, Blizzard announced a patch in which several classes will receive a major buff. Even the bosses will be changed again, it seems.
When does the raid start?
These are the buffs and nerfs: In a post on the official forum, community manager Kaivax explains that several class sets had to be nerfed because they would otherwise be too strong in comparison. In return, the corresponding classes will receive a buff:
As soon as the raid is active, you will find our DPS ranking with the strongest classes here. Until then, you can find out which classes are currently doing best in our tier list for The War Within.
For the tier sets, the bonuses for 4 pieces are mostly getting a nerf, but some of the bonuses for 2 pieces are already getting a nerf, such as the Havoc Demon Hunter, the Caller and the Shaman. You can find the nerfs in detail in the patch notes.
Blizzard has already announced that during the Heroic Week (September 11-18) they will look at what still needs to be adjusted for the launch of Mythic+, PvP and the mythic raids.

Adjustments for the bosses in the Palace of the Nerub’ar before the raid even arrives
In addition to the already confirmed nerfs and buffs for the classes, the data miners at wowhead have found some adjustments for the bosses in the new raid. Although probably very few of you have been part of the tests and seen the raid from the inside, the changes should be important for you.
Of the 8 bosses in the raid, 6 will receive a decent buff, even in normal and heroic mode. Only Sikran will be nerfed. The other bosses’ shields and healing absorptions in particular are now stronger.
Even the final boss, Queen Ansurek, now gives healers more to do. But in an emergency, you can also just fight her solo if you’re only interested in the story. Since this is data mining, the changes are not confirmed.
However, it is logical in a way that the healers have to suffer right from the release of the first raid. There is a buff that gets stronger every week and increases healing within the raid. This ensures an automatic strengthening: The first raid in The War Within nerfs itself every week
