During Friday, there were reports of shooting at a gate in Älvsjö, south of Stockholm.
Now the family at the address in question has posted a post on social media where they claim it was a botched shooting and share a picture of a note they posted on the door.
“Attention! Wrong house, the X family lives here and no one else,” reads a note.
The alarm about the shooting in a residential area in Älvsjö south of Stockholm came in at 1.30 pm in the afternoon.
According to information to Aftonbladet, witnesses have seen a suspected perpetrator flee after firing at a gate, and residents of the address tell TV4 Nyheterna that it was a misfire.
In a post on social media, the family writes that no one was home when the shooting took place and that “what was supposed to be a Friday night out ended with two bullet holes in the door and a full police presence in Älvsjö”.

The police are still in the area but do not want to confirm the information that it was a mistaken shooting as the investigation is still ongoing.
