Wheelchair winder Toni Piispanen ended his career in style. He won bronze in the 100 meters of the T51 class at the Paris Paralympics. The medal is Piispa’s second of these games, as he previously won silver in the 200 meters.

Piispanen has said that these competitions will be the last of his career. Gold was won by Canada Cody Fournie (19.63) ahead of Belgium Peter Genynia (20.47). Piispanen’s time was 21.14, which is his best of the season.
