The reason is the tense situation around the world, reports SVT Nyheter.

Earlier this week, Yagi claimed at least 13 lives in the Philippines. The storm was then categorized as a tropical storm. Now it has been upgraded to a typhoon which in Hong Kong is graded as Category 8 – the third highest.

The man who in early August was suspected of murder after a woman died after falling from a balcony is no longer suspected of crime.

The woman, who was aged 35, was badly injured when she was found at an apartment building in Malmö on the night of August 6. She later died in hospital.

The man was detained against his denial as a suspect of murder.

On August 28, the arrest was lifted and earlier this week, prosecutor Pia Björnsson informed the Malmö district court that the preliminary investigation had been closed. The reason is that the suspicions cannot be substantiated and that further investigation is not deemed to change the state of evidence in any decisive way.

  • Ukrainian data: Parts of New York retaken

Ukraine claims to have retaken parts of the city of New York (or Nju-York), which lies north of the metropolis of Donetsk. Described as Kiev’s first on the hotly contested front in eastern Ukraine in months, the success was described in a social media post by the high-profile Azov Brigade.

Russia’s military claimed it took control of the small town on August 20 this year. New York, which before the outbreak of the war had roughly 10,000 residents, is located in the Donetsk region, which Russia said it would annex in the fall of 2022.

The city got its startling name when it was founded in the late 1800s, but it is not decided exactly why the choice fell on that particular name.

  • A: Wiretapping children under the age of 15

The Social Democrats say that society is in an acute national crisis where serious violence creeps further down the ages.

S proposes that children under the age of 15 should be subject to covert means of coercion.

    – We are in an acute and national crisis where children are being used as child soldiers by adults, says S leader Magdalena Andersson.

Legislation for using covert means of coercion, such as wiretapping, during a criminal investigation is limited to 15 years. S wants to change this.

    – It is about protecting children’s privacy and their integrity, but with the development we see today, it must be weighed against the risk of them being drawn into crime and protecting their lives, says Magdalena Andersson.

    – This means that the legislation would provide the same opportunity for wiretapping regardless of age, she continues.

The proposal is currently being investigated by the government and a proposal is to be submitted on December 20 this year.

S also wants to speed up the introduction of so-called youth crime boards of the Danish model. The party will make proposals on this when the Riksdag reopens next week.
