Association of Dutch Municipalities saves bed bath bread

In Utrecht, there are 235 beds available in the National Aliens Facility (LVV). Six million euros are available for these beds this year, four million of which come from the government, the rest from the municipality. But those four million will not be available next year. The municipality is therefore increasing the budget by an additional one million next year. In addition, the VNG, the Association of Dutch Municipalities, has also made two million available. This brings the total budget for next year to five million euros, and the scheme can probably be continued.
