Emir Al Thani met with President Alexander Stubb yesterday.
Prime minister Petteri Orpo (collective) has received the Emir of Qatar by Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Before the start of the actual meeting, Orpo introduced the Prime Minister’s official residence, Kesärantaa.
The topics of the meeting during Al Thani’s visit have been the deepening of economic and political cooperation, as well as the wars in Ukraine and Gaza. Later today, the Emir will also meet the Speaker of the Parliament Jussi Halla-ahon (ps.).
Al Thani has previously visited other Nordic countries.
