SNCF is extending the holidays with this special back-to-school flash sale.
Back to school is over and you already have the blues? Summer is not over, there are still beautiful days to come. What if you organized a little getaway to extend the holidays under the Indian summer sun, or before the Christmas holidays, during or after All Saints’ Day? As always, the SNCF offers interesting flash offers throughout the year. But the one that is coming is exceptional: called “Tra incroyables”, it offers very very low prices on more than 60 destinations in France. Ready to take a day off or two for a family or romantic getaway for an off-season weekend?
Hurry, this good deal is imminent and will only last 48 hours! This Wednesday, September 4 and Thursday, September 5, 200,000 OUIGO Grande Vitesse and OUIGO Train Classique tickets are on sale for the modest sum of 19 euros maximum, or 38 euros for a round trip, to 60 destinations served by SNCF low-cost trains, on journeys between Monday, September 9 and Saturday, December 14, 2024 inclusive. As the stock of tickets can sell out very quickly depending on the date and destination chosen, it is preferable to book directly on the iOS or Android application which allows you to buy your tickets wherever you are on September 4 and 5.
And this SNCF Voyageurs operation “Tra incroyables” does not stop there. TGV, TER and Intercités will also be affected by this month of crazy promotions in September. On September 18, it is the journeys to Europe on board the TGV that are affected. Departing from the capital towards Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy or Switzerland, you will pay your ticket at a knockdown price of 39 euros (count only 29 euros from Montpellier, Nîmes or Valencia to go to Spain). Then from September 23 to 27, Intercités tickets are on sale from 19 € and TGV Inoui tickets from 29 euros. Finally, small one-off promotions are offered throughout the month on the TER, with prices that can go down to just 2 euros.
Please note that apart from this flash sale, the SNCF allows you to book cheap tickets throughout the rest of the year. In addition to these flash offers, you just need to book your train ticket up to 4 months in advance to get discounts of up to 50%.
