In Pokémon Go, a player complains about his suffering and apparently hopes that the Pokémon gods, i.e. Niantic, will show mercy. After a heated argument, his girlfriend angrily deleted his 8-year-old account in the game Pokémon Go.
How did the argument come about? User Rhys2468 says on reddit:
30 Hundos and 150 Shinies gone
What did he lose there? The user writes that he has been playing Pokémon GO since 2016 and has collected 30 Houndos and over 150 Shinies.
Shinies are particularly rare Pokémon with an alternative coloration.
A Houndo is a particularly strong version of a Pokémon with an IV of 100%, a perfect rating. There are also “Shundos” that are both shiny and Houndos.
The trainer says he is very disappointed that he has not yet received a response to a support request. After all, he invested a lot of time and several hundred US dollars in Pokémon Go. Both are now simply gone.
He hopes that the Reddit post gets enough attention so that someone at Niantic will show mercy and reinstate his account.
“Grind them into candy!”
How is this commented on? The malicious answers are: He should put his friends in the “Candy Grinder” and grind them into candy or at least send them to the professor.
Others judge disparagingly, saying that the girlfriend is obviously not a shiny and has an unbalanced IV value. He is sure to find a better replacement quickly.
The answer is also mean: the girlfriend is very good at PVP, after all she destroyed him.
Others suggest that he should try a swap, maybe it will be a lucky trade.
Is there hope for him? Yes, but it could be difficult. One user says: Niantic can restore the account, but you have to be persistent and hope to find the right person to do it. Influencers have already managed to get deleted accounts back. We have more on the subject in this article: Pokémon GO: Lost account shows why you should double-back up your login data
