Considered one of the best sagas of all time this

This saga, considered one of the best of all time by many spectators, is soon to return to the cinema. It is an event not to be missed for fans.

We can count on the fingers of one hand the great film sagas that have marked generations of spectators to the point of succeeding in establishing themselves, in a consensual manner, as immense classics of the genre. Sometimes, we have not even necessarily been able to discover them on the big screen. This week, the one that is considered by many to be the best trilogy of all time is coming out in theaters, ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in a classic of the seventh art to feast their eyes in a dark room.

This trilogy is obviously The Lord of the Rings. Directed by Peter Jackson, this is the adaptation, in three episodes, of the literary masterpiece by JRR Tolkien. For those who have been able to escape the phenomenon, this acclaimed literary fantasy saga, which has become a cinematic phenomenon, follows the quest of a young hobbit, Frodo, who inherits a magic ring with immense power: an instrument that would allow Sauron, Lord of Darkness, to reign over Middle-earth. Helped by representatives of other peoples, Frodo is now on a mission to go to Mount Doom to destroy the ring before it destroys them all.

The third installment is also one of the most awarded films in the history of the ceremony, with 11 awards won in total. Subsequently, Peter Jackson decided to adapt the saga The Hobbitbut the success is more mixed, while Amazon is developing a prequel series, The Rings of Powerseason 2 of which is currently streaming on Prime Video.

But if you want to (re)dive into the original saga, know that Peter Jackson’s trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers And The Return of the King) will be released in French cinemas on September 4, 2024.
