Confessed during the custody hearing
On Monday, a man in his 30s was arrested for the murder of the woman, which occurred in mid-November last year. During the detention hearing, he himself admitted the crime.
He is a native of the Gnosjö area and has previously been unpunished.
Requested to undergo a forensic psychiatric examination
The man has also requested, through his defender, to undergo a small forensic psychiatric examination – a so-called section 7 examination.
– The man has been involved in the investigation for some time and has now given a picture of what happened, said prosecutor Johan Stenberg after yesterday’s detention hearing.
