You never arrive on time on Waze? That’s about to change and here’s how

You never arrive on time on Waze Thats about to

For a while now, users of the app have been complaining that they always arrive later than the time displayed at the start. But the travel time should now be more reliable. Here’s how to do it.

Few people today are able to get from point A to point B without a GPS. Like Google Maps, the Waze application is very practical for calculating your route, and reorienting us when we are not taking the right path. “All roads lead to Rome”, and it is Waze that takes us there!

The advantage is that these tools also allow you to determine the best travel time by indicating the exact arrival time. These apps therefore take into account real-time road traffic, adapting the route to possible accidents, speed cameras and traffic jams, which could delay the driver. But for some time now, bugs have been disturbing Waze users.

“Every time I entered my destination address, Waze gave me a travel time, but often it took me double that time,” says Stéphanie, who lives in the Paris region. So, when Waze shows a 35-minute travel time for a midday departure, you’re more likely to arrive at your destination at 1 p.m. instead of 12:35 p.m. In fact, some journeys are poorly timed due to a major bug. As a result, the app didn’t take traffic into account correctly, which meant it couldn’t predict the risk of traffic jams.

This problem should now be fixed thanks to a new update of the application that will make all the features available, reports the Auto Moto website. All you need to do is update Waze on your smartphone to stop being cheated on your travel time. You will no longer risk arriving late for your appointments and will be able to drive more peacefully.
